That's all well & good, Shawn, but I set the headers to repeat.

I was not aware of that. When you told me that there was a problem with the grade book, I thought that was what you were referring to.

Hi Shawn.

The comment I made in faculty meeting was only concerning an upgrade that changed to a totally different grade book interface, as Webber's current version has. It seems to offer more flexibility, but demands a little more attention and excel know-how from the instructor. Changing to that version may require a training session or 2 for most instructors.

Is that update in our future?

Hello,
I wasn't aware that Webber was using Moodle. I have been working with the Beta testing for the new version and the new features do allow for a lot more flexibility in grading, especially where the discussion forums are concerned. It can be configured, for our use, to be very similar to what we have now and not as focused on excel. What I do like, is that the grades will be easier to export into excel, so those instructors that want to use a separate grade book, will be able to do that. I am anticipating having the new version in July, and then holding a training session for the new features before the new school year starts. I am working right now on improving the security features, going from a http to an https, then working on a glitch with the moodle surveys and hopefully implementing the new version. I am glad that you have had a chance to see it from a user perspective at Webber, and I definitely appreciate any input you may have.
